SUMMARY
Fast Lane started as a film festival poster project I went to a local racing strip to talk with the owner and get photography for. The biggest takeaway From the conversations was how The owner enjoyed so much about racing more than the fast cars. To him, it was about the community and atmosphere of being at the races. He said, "The fast cars are such a small piece of what racing is all about."  This is why Fast Lane never shows a full car but rather small pieces of them in a nod to the part they play in being at the race track.
Goal
To create a racing brand that shows only up close shots of cars that convey the feeling of being at a race track.
FROM THE STRIP TO THE FAST LANE
I decided to transition from the Strip to the Fast Lane Film Festival to appeal to a more general racing community. This ultimately widened the direction I could take the project.
